Good morning. I rise early to receive more good news on donations & pledges.
This good start is fantastic, in our shared mission to help humanity.
See list below: present total RM24,000 and S$2,000.
Of course, we also welcome RC Kota Kinabalu donation of RM20,000
direct to RC Cebu, their sister club.

Many club are meeting in the week to consider more donations.
Friends of Rotary have joined hands with personal giving.
So, keep them coming.
Well, I may make a trip to Cebu city, the nerve centre of disaster operation for us,
during the last week of the month.
Hopefully, DG will allow me to carry the donations there for immediate use
to benefit the severely affected folks right away.
2.
I have just established formal contact with DG Edgar Chiongbian of district 3860
to coordinate work with his disaster relief team.
DG Chiongbian has welcome our participation with any relief fund.
More importantly, he will account for funds remitted from us.
He advised: the areas heavily affected by the typhoon are Tacloban and Ormoc
of Leyte province, and 3 towns, Bogo City of northern Cebu province.
So, our relief efforts will probably be concentrated in these areas.
Some Rotarians have indicated to me they want to join in relief work.
Tentatively, we are looking at the middle of December to go if a schedule is organised.
3.
I have received questions and valid concerns about accountability.
Worried that the funds raised may go awry and not reached the deserving people.
I wish to impress you that the last disaster relief work for typhoon Pablo
went the right way.
And we will do the same this time and collaborate disaster relief work with our Rotarian friends there.
