Attractions Around Kuching

Bako National Park

Bako is one of the best places in Sarawak for wildlife experiences. It is famous for its diverse ecosystems, coastline, jungle trekking and proboscis monkeys.

Semenggoh Nature Reserve

The Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, set in a nature reserve in Sarawak, is the best place to view semi-wild orangutans who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve.

Having opened in 2009, the Sarawak Orchid Garden is a relatively new addition to the Kuching tourist roster. It sits next to the Sarawak River, accessible either by using the Darul Hana footbridge or taking one of the jetty rides.

AirAsia has since grown to become one of the largest low-cost airlines in the world, with a fleet of over 200 aircraft and serving destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The airline is known for its low-cost fares and its no-frills approach to air travel, with a focus on providing affordable travel options for budget-conscious travelers. AirAsia operates flights to over 165 destinations in 25 countries. The company also has subsidiaries in other countries including AirAsia India, AirAsia Japan, AirAsia X, and Thai AirAsia.

Batik Air Malaysia (formerly known as Malindo Air) is a Malaysian full service carrier, an associate carrier of Indonesian Lion Air Group, with headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.The original name Malindo signifies a cooperative pact between Malaysia and Indonesia.The airline operates regular flights to Kuching International Airport (KCH) from its hub in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Scoot Pte Ltd, operating as Scoot, is a Singaporean low-cost airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines.It began its operations on 4 June 2012 on medium and long-haul routes from Singapore, predominantly to various airports throughout the Asia-Pacific.
