Further to my previous email dated 24 December, 2015, I am pleased to announce the Regional Chairs for Rotary D3310 Cycle to End Polio in February to March 2016.

Date of event: 23 February to 6 March 2016
Singapore – President Leo Tan, RC Bukit Timah
Date of event: 5 March 2016. This is being organised in partnership with the Swimming Marathon event to raise fund to end Polio by RC Singapore.
Johor & Malacca – President Elect Raymess E Wei Keong, RC Johor Bahru Sentral
Date of event: 20 – 27 March 2016. This will be organised in partnership with Demi Johor Dua which is a prestigious event to mark the history of Johor and Malaysia at large. Thank you Rtn. Lynda Eunos for getting Rotary as partner for Demi Johor.
The respective Regional Chair will form their organising committee. I urge all the 66 Rotary Clubs and Rotarians to lend support as much they can to make it to the success. This is a District event to raise fund to eradicate Polio.
Our District’s goal is to raise US$130,000. To achieve this target, I would like to request that each club to source for sponsorship of USD$1,000 for every 20 members or less. I believe the quest to end polio is vital for our future generations. I also believe that this event will bring good publicity for Rotary to the general public.
Sponsorships can be in the form of cash or for the logos on rider T-shirts.
Let’s all support and participate to continue our efforts to be a gift to the World.
