Dear Fellow Rotarians,
On our recent trip to Cambodia, we pass by the Rotary Sentosa Building in the Baray District of Kg Thom (which is @ 4 hours drive from Phnom Penh) which was built with financial contribution from our members whose names are recognized on the plaque which we installed on the wall of the warehouse.
We have been advised that the Warehouse has been used regularly by the staff of the Red Cross to store essential supplies for disaster relief operations. The warehouse is built next to the Red Cross office building which can be seen from the main road outside the gate. The road leads from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and many tour buses pass by the Red Cross building and can view our RotarySentosa signboard on the wall of the Warehouse.
We are indeed proud of our contribution and would like to thank all our sponsors once again for their generous contribution towards the cost of the building construction…
We contributed 150 bicycles to the Students from 10 schools in the vicinity and will forward photos of the Handing Over Ceremony in due course.
