Fund-raising for Typhoon Haiyan Disaster – donation update 2

Dear Rotarians, Good morning. We are encouraged by the enthusiasm and positive energy all round to contribute to a great cause to SAVE humanity in the Philippines. Many Clubs and especially people have come forward and donated generously. And they bank in their donations right away. For many others who have yet to commit, please do so NOW. Quoting a female survivor seen on CNN TV, she says: PLEASE SEND HELP NOW, NOT TOMORROW, now! The dire situation on the ground is heart wrenching. So, please do not wait for formality — board meeting — to make this important and urgent decision. I quote you one club where the BOD decides donation by sending out the proposal by emails and arrive at a QUICK decision in a few hours. I think you can try that, and the affected survivors will appreciate it. I enclose here the new list of donors. Total amount is about RM70,000 already; and more is needed.
