You may be pleased to know the donation is about RM420,000 now.
RC Kota Kinabalu added RM3,000 to the earlier RM28,000 making the total donation remitted to RC of Cebu as RM31,000. It is probably the largest donation from a club so far. Well done.
Rotary Clubs and persons continue to bank in the collections and duly informing me. I appreciate all the cooperation.
It is now down to action and making sure the proper implementation of transferred funds. Rotarian Elly Ho (eClub 3310) is leaving for Cebu today, and will join in a big contingent to carry out relief mission work led by a visiting RI Director there. Elly Ho has agreed to keep us informed with photos. He is probably the first visiting representative from the district. We wish him a safe journey.
