Hurray, we pass the RM400,00 mark!
This you MUST know! DG Chew Ghin Bok did all of us a big favour by making sure we could successfully remit peso 2,155,715 PHP (USD50,000) to district 3860, and peso 862,286 PHP (USD20,000) to district 3850 today. I salute you, DG.
Now I wish to put on record that RC Tanglin and RC Singapore West contributed donations to their sister clubs in the Philippines — see list below.
Also RC Muar’s combined efforts is now RM10,410 when the son of the late PDG Etican Ramasamy, Selen, got the Malacca Multimedia University’s student and staff involved raising another RM2310. Thanks Selen Ramesh.
Rotarian Elly Ho, Roger Ng, and me will visit Cebu and Roxas on Sunday and Monday. The Rotarians in the Philippines look forward to welcome us.
And PP Tay Wei Lian of RC Singapore West will lead a group of NUS students to do some disaster relief project from 8th Dec to 20 Dec.
