“Green on Me”: A Preserve Planet Earth and 3gen Program by Rotary Happiness Fund – Post Release
Students from the Interact Club of ITE College East – a youth service club under Rotary International District 3310 took the lead in organizing Green on Me – an inter-generational tree planting initiative cum luncheon for 100 senior citizens from Thye Hua Kwan Seniors Activity Centre, Nee Soon South CC Family Life Committee (FLC) and Bedok Radiance Seniors at Punggol Park Connector on Saturday, 30 June 2012.

RI Board endorsed the practice of Corporate Social Responsiblity (CSR) at September 2011 Meeting
Noting that Rotary club membership now includes community leaders, retired persons, and others not currently in businesses or professions, the Board amended RI’s Declaration of Rotarians in Businesses and Professions to now be a “Rotary Code of Conduct.”

Reference is made to a report published on 24th May 2012 in the Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao newspapers in Singapore concerning Mr. Tapan Rao’s statement that the Rotary Club of Singapore will contribute one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) towards the upgrading of toilets in the Hougang Constitutency.
