Cancellation of EGM in District Conference 2016

Dear Club Presidents / Secretaries,

We refer to our Notice of Meeting dated 30 March 2016 calling for an Extraordinary General Meeting of Rotary International District 3310 Berhad on 30 April 2016 at The Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Please take note the above Extraordinary General Meeting has been cancelled on the directive of the District Governor as confirmation has been received from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) that holding of members’ meeting outside of Malaysia contradicts Companies Act, 1965.
