Membership, PR & Fellowship Seminar
Introduction
DG Hj Zainie Abdul Aucasa has made membership development activities as his top agenda for the year 2011-12. He sets high goal of exceeding the 2,000 members’ threshold, a strategic level for psychological boost to the health of the district.
The District Committee for Membership Development, Information& Retention has worked hard before the start of Rotary year. We have produced membership invitation flyers which were distributed during the District Assembly 2011 in Johor Bahru. Our seminar roadshows will be rolled out in August and September 2011 in 6 locations, namely Kota Kinabalu (6 Aug), Tawau (7 Aug), Kuching (20 Aug), Singapore (10 Sept), Johor Bahru (24 Sept) and Malaka (25 Sept).
Seminar is a mean to our end. We need follow through like golf swing in order to have wonderful result. After each seminar the Regional chairs – PP David Chin (KK), AG Judy Yu (Tawau), PP Kho Ping (Kuching), PP Michael Yee (Singapore), PP Dr.Anga (JB) and Rtn MjAnba (Malaka), will collate the discussion and compile into presentation slides for follow-up action to each of the clubs in the region together with AGs, and help to grow the clubs with below 20 members and improve healthy growth rate for those marginal clubs.
All efforts should be translated into total number of increase in District 3310 membership. DG Hj Zainie would give out awards of recognition during District Assembly 2012 for those individuals and clubs who make things happen and help our district to cross the strategic hurdle of 2,000members.
